0030. Dr Guy Christopher Barlow Atkinson in 1914. He lived in Long Clawson and set up a dispensary there. He was a keen horseman and sometimes went on horseback to visit patients after he had his own car. He was well known for his sense of fun and was a LRCS surgeon, medical officer, and public vaccinator for the District. From the collection of R E and F M Banks (née Fairbrother). |
