0042. Rev Stone on the tennis court at the Old Rectory.  His obituary in the Grantham newspaper tells us that he was born in 1860 and died on 10 January 1925. As a boy he went to sea then trained to be a Anglican priest, becoming a deacon in 1889. From 1890 to1894 he was at Bottesford, 1894 to 1899 at St Barnabas, Kensington and finally 1899 to 1925  rector at Harby. All his life he was a batchelor.
