| Ernie is wearing a medal which still exists in the Towers family. A blow up of the medal in the photo is on the left, the medal today is in the middle and right. The hall marks tell us it is solid silver, made in Birmingham 1913 to 14 by Vaughton and Sons. It reads "Harby St Marys Childrens Sunday 1915". | ||
