| 0644. The White Hart and looking south along Main Street with the chapel school room on the left. Above the door to the White Hart is written "Bertie Cox". Is the man on the bicycle the same as in 0140? This is a postcard written in 1910. The Directory for 1908 says the publican then was George Porter; Bertie Cox is recorded as publican in directories for 1912 and 1916. Henry Coy collection. |
