0849.  Sarah Scarrott (nee Sumner) 1870.  Sarah was born in 1811 in Colston Bassett. Her  mother was Mary Sumner, her  Father Thomas Adams from Cumwhitton near Carlisle. Thomas Adams was gardener to William Sumner in Harby.  Sarah married John Gale Julian in Harby and had three children (Adela, Augustine & John) with him in Harby.  John and Sarah split up and Sarah had an illegitimate child by Thomas Scarrott from Birmingham in 1840, named Thomas Scarrott Julian.  Thomas Scarrott died and Sarah returned to Harby to end her days  with Adela her daughter & Richard Dunsmore. Sarah Scarrott (nee Sumner) died in 1884  and  is buried in grave 349  next to her father Thomas Adams in Harby churchyard. Brutnell collection.
