The Solway System has many benefits. It can help keep your farm tidy on a daily basis, and reduce the contamination of plastic, improving its potential for recycling.
PAY-AS-YOU-GO.
Pay only for the waste that you produce. Get as much waste as you can into the liners but always pay the same fee for collection.
COMPACTION.
You can use a heavy weight to compact the waste inside the bin and liner. Many producers use a bulk bag of sand or possibly fertilizer. Compaction maximizes the efficiency of the bin and liner system. Other tools developed to compact the waste include the method shown opposite using an old wheel.
FLEXIBLE COLLECTION OPTIONS.
Standard Service
Full liners collected from your farm upon request (min. 3 liners per collection).
Bulk Collection
For large farms producing more than 18 liners per year and would be content with one annual collection, up to 40 liners can be collected for the same price as 18.
Hub Collections
Groups of local farmers have the option to form a central Hub, collecting liners from a central point in their area. Between 18 and 40 liners can be collected at any one time for the same price, therefore collecting 40 liners will more than halve the collection fees.
