ECO Award - Harby School took its first step in achieving the ECO
Schools Green Flag Award when it gained the ECO Schools Bronze
Award. Activities included: energy saving; recycling paper and
water; composting; visiting Cropston Reservoir; growing vegetables
and writing to the Prime Minister on renewable energy resources and
litter control.
Children in Distress Bring and Buy sale raised an amazing £122. The
Nativity Collection raised £129 for National Children's Homes. Thank
you for supporting these events.
Planet Play celebrates its 1st birthday in January with a party. The
after school care facility continues to grow in popularity providing
children with a safe and stimulating environment and quality child
care.
Cropston Reservoir water treatment works and reservoir were the
destination for Years 4 and 5 in December. A nature reserve ramble,
a climb up the old chimney, and cleaning sewage soup were the
ingredients for a valuable trip.

HARBY
CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL occupies an interesting listed building on School Lane.
It was originally built in 1860 but has modern rooms added to it to provide
up-to-date facilities. It has an attached playground and playing field and has, for many years, provided Harby children with an excellent education. It attracts children from other villages too.
Harby
School takes children aged 4 - 10 .
