BROWNIES meet in the Village Hall on Mondays. Church of England. St. Mary's Church is situated on the edge of the village looking out over fields towards
Langar. It is reached by footpaths from School Lane or the end of Boyers Orchard. Details of services are displayed on the church

Baptist: chapel in Chapel Street, Hose with services at 11 am and 6.15 on Sundays. The Valley Christian Centre now occupies what was the Methodist Chapel on Main Street. Sunday morning services are at 10.30. They also hold a Tuesday Youth Club, for over 10's, a Wednesday Club for 5-7 year olds, babes & tots on Wednesday mornings, a Jubilee Club for the over 60's on Thursday afternoons and a ladies bible study group. THE PANTOMIME. The Harby pantomime is the highlight of the village social life. Written, produced, performed and hosted
entirely by Harby citizens of all ages, it takes place in the Village Hall in January. Harby Harlequins are the drama group responsible for the annual pantomime, contact Peter

We are trying to re-launch the Harby Neighbourhood Watch scheme, in order to do this we need volunteers both as co-ordinators and contacts in each street in the village. PARISH COUNCIL Harby does not have a Parish Council of its own but is served by Long Clawson, Hose and Harby Parish Council which meets every month, moving round the villages in turn.

VALE CHOIR. Singers enjoy performing with the Vale Choir at various churches in the Vale, contact Colin Newel, 01949 860198. The WOMENS INSTITUTE is long established in the village and also serves other local villages. They meet every fourth Thursday evening in the month at the village hall.
