HOUSING. There is a mix of old and new, large and small properties in the village. Due to the desirability of the location and the excellent facilities of Harby prices are rather high. There is still some rented property available but there has been a reduction in this area. There has been a tendency for properties to be extended or for new larger houses to be built so there are proportionally fewer small cottages and houses in the village. A core of historic properties add to the charm of the village.
